About
What MALAI is, in plain language.
MALAI (Metabolic Adaptive Lifestyle And Intelligence) is the nutrition companion for people on a GLP-1. We do one thing: help you protect your strength while your medication does its job.
What we do
AI nutrition care companion built specifically for GLP-1 users. Phase-aware meal plans, side-effect management, body composition tracking, and access to insurance-covered Registered Dietitian coaching.
A smarter way to navigate your GLP-1 journey.
Who we serve
People taking GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound for weight management or type 2 diabetes. If you're newly prescribed, in titration, at maintenance, or tapering off — MALAI adapts to your phase, week, and dose. Week 2 of titration is not week 52 of maintenance.

Why we built this
My mother started a GLP-1, and the questions began before the first dose did. What should she eat. What if she couldn't. Whether the weight coming off was the right kind. The prescription answered none of that, and neither did the pamphlet that came with it.
So I did what everyone does — I read the forums. People on their fourth month explaining things to people on their first week, at two in the morning, for free. That is where the real answers were. They were also scattered across a thousand threads, contradictory, and impossible to tell apart from the confident guesses.
MALAI is what I built with what I learned there: the same medication-aware, phase-aware guidance, organised and checked and handed back. Calorie counters miss the point. Generic meal apps don't adapt to your dose. Coaching is unaffordable without insurance billing. We fix each of those, starting with the hardest part — protecting muscle while you lose fat.
If you are the one doing the reading for a parent right now: that is who I was.
