1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MALAI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MALAI is an AI nutrition care companion built specifically for people taking GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound). The Service includes phase-aware meal planning, nutrition and symptom tracking, side-effect management protocols, body composition tracking, and access to insurance-covered Registered Dietitian (RD) coaching where eligible.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use MALAI.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date — particularly your medication and dose, which drive plan generation.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not share your account or create multiple accounts.

4. Health Disclaimer

MALAI is not a medical device, prescription, or replacement for clinical care. Always consult your prescribing physician, registered dietitian, or other clinicians on your care team before making changes to your treatment plan, medication, dose, or nutrition.

The meal plans, protocols, and educational content we provide are for general informational and wellness purposes only. MALAI does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

MALAI does not take responsibility for any health outcomes resulting from use of the meal plans, protocols, or nutritional information provided. If you experience severe side effects from your GLP-1 medication, contact your prescribing physician immediately.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
• Upload or transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation.
• Impersonate any person, entity, or healthcare provider, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Provide false or misleading medical information that could affect plan safety.

6. Insurance & RD Coaching

When you opt into RD coaching through MALAI, we check your insurance eligibility for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Coverage and copay are determined by your insurance plan; MALAI does not guarantee coverage. The clinical relationship for RD coaching is between you and the registered dietitian; MALAI facilitates the connection and handles administrative billing only.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of MALAI — including design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by MALAI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your meal data, custom meals, and personal nutrition information remain yours. By using the Service, you grant MALAI a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MALAI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep MALAI available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, updates, or any other reason.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal proceedings.
